THE Who

Help Heal Humanity is an internationally registered charity designed to provide the world’s most-at risk populations with access to education, food, community and love.

THE when

This campaign for food funding and distribution will launch on May 8 2020 for a period of 2 months. Beginning May 8 2020 through to July 8 2020 pending on the climate due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

"Our vision is to awaken hearts, inspire humans and heal humanity. "

Help Heal Humanity has been working in Canaan, Haiti since 2011 where we built a school that has been running since 2018 and houses 121 children from the community. We provide the infrastructure, the education, books, uniforms and daily snack.
THE WHAT

Help Heal Humanity is launching an Emergency Fund Relief Campaign to help respond to the hunger crisis in Haiti and we need your help.

After 2 years of sustained protests, riots and government inaction, the economic situation in Haiti has already made life exceedingly difficult for the vast majority of the population - especially the poorest families in the community of Canaan. The currency has rapidly depreciated, inflation has remained elevated and the government has few fiscal resources to draw upon in responding to the pandemic. Many Haitian families are facing an increasingly uncertain future. Without the basic necessities, many people – especially already-malnourished children - will die.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 CDN to feed 75 families for a month.

The most basic need currently is food and we are pleading to our communities to support us in raising funds to respond to the hunger crisis in Haiti.  Our organization has a trusted team on the ground that will be facilitating the program in Haiti. All the products will be bought and purchased by local vendors so that we help give back to the local economy and shops. We are able to do this because of our connections with local suppliers who will ensure we have enough product to fulfill our mission.

Our last fundraiser!

Thank you to all who supported us as we acted quickly to get much needed sanitary buckets out to the school's families.

SB - We just need a short sentence here that maybe talks to the power of community and a quick sentence that reconfirms HHH took care of all 122 of the Schools children's and families.

1 in 14 will die before reaching the age of 5

The leading cause of death for infants and children is acute diarrhea, malnutrition and acute respiratory infections.

Currently, 1 in 5 children in Haiti are malnourished, 1 in 10 are acutely malnourished. Of the nearly 10 million people living in Haiti, more than a third are under age 14.

THE HOW

It takes a village to raise a child and we need your help to make this happen.

We understand that this is a very difficult time for all beings everywhere given the current state of crisis and uncertainty we are all facing with COVID-19. However, we are reaching out to those of you who, even during this time of distress, can still afford to give back and help others suffering far greater than we'll ever understand.

Even just $5 goes along a way and will make a big difference for our children and families attending the Haiti School Building Project. Help become part of our team and together we will Help Heal Humanity one meal, student, family and building at a time.
